It is the base of the Oukensous tribe, famous for its production of ancient daggers; here the houses are pink and the women dressed in black with colored veils bring ancient pitches of water on their head. Passage in Tagmoute for the visit of the ancient Messalite caves. Arrival in the Tata Valley, described by the writer Charles de Foucauld. Between Ighrem and Tata, the road crosses a plain desert with yellow and violet mountains. 5th day: Desert experience - Mhamid – Draa Valley – Zagora – Ouarzazate 250Km

Departure for M'hamid crossing the Draa Valley and along the 200 km palm grove. This valley was inhabited by prehistoric warriors and contains a big number of Ksours and Kasbahs. 6 km away from Zagora there is a famous Koranic school that preserves over 4,000 ancient religious texts and scientific essays, some of which written in gold on skins of gazelle. The library can be found in a sanctuary particularly worshipped. Visit of the city of Zagora, through the panoramic road of the Anti Atlas. The city was founded during the French protectorate. Famous for its historic poster "Timbuctoo, 52 days by camel" that recalls the great gold period of the caravans of the Sahara. Stop for the visit of an interesting Kasbah, Tamnougalt, which once controlled the access of the caravans. Inside you’ll found intact frescos and paintings and a mellah (Jewish district) with a Synagogue. We recommend doing a picnic on the Draa banks to taste this city’s soul.  Arrival in the late afternoon in Ouarzazate, the ‘city of silence’. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

6th day: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n Tkchka - Marrakech 200km

Their position is often "isolated" and particularly fascinating (for fans of the genre).
