HB. Arrival in Marrakech and departure for Taroudannt through the Tizi n'Test pass, 1200m above sea level, in the mountains of the High Atlas. The road is difficult, with many bends, but it is considered one of the most scenic routes in Morocco, providing breathtaking views over gorges and remote villages. Arrival in Taroudannt in the late afternoon, a city embraced by ocher bastions and surrounded by a nature of orchards, orange and olive trees. If time allows it, free walk within the walls of this "little Marrakech" famous for its souks and the two main squares. Dinner and overnight in selected riad.



day2: Taroudannt - Tioute & Freija Oasis - Tagmoute - Tata - Tissint (245Km)

HB. Day begins with a free walk in the centre of Taroudannt. Departure to visit the Kasbah and palm grove of Tioute and Freja, outside the most touristy circuits and set of the movie “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves”. Between Taroudannt and Ighrem argan fields alternates to dry-stone villages. Igrehm is a big mountain village, 1800m, also homebase of the Oukensous tribe, famous for the production of ancient daggers; pink is the dominant colours of the houses inhabited by these people while women usually dress in black matched with coloured veils. Drive through Tagmouteto for a visit at the ancient Messalite caves. Arrival in the Tata Valley, praised in his writings by Charles Foucauld. Tata is home to a lush palm grove and the popular ancient Zaouia Agadir Lhena. Last stop of a busy day at Tissint Waterfall. Dinner and overnight in selected riad/maison d'hotel or, on request, in a typical tented camp in the heart of the valley.



day3: Tata - Akka - Icht - Guelmime/Tighmert (284 km)

HB. Departure for Guelmime, city of mysterious charm known for its market and Festival dedicated to dromedaries, held every year in July (UNESCO HERITAGE). This land is considered the true door of the Sahara Desert, where the language spoken by the indigenous inhabitants changes from Darija (berber) to tHassanya (sarhawi). You'll find yourself  in an uncontaminated cultural enviroment. An ndipendent stroll around the local souk will expose you to the traditions of these nomadic tribe living in proximity of the desert (Sarhawi tribe). Dinner and overnight stay near Guelmime, in the Tighmert Oasis, in a typical and simple Sarawhi guest house (a uniqueexperience).



day4: Guelmime - Plage blanche - Fort Bou Jerif (90km)

HB. Along the way to our destination today, we will meet fishermen's huts perched on the cliffs and nomadic herds of dromedaries. We will then reach the wild and uncontaminated beaches whose dunes plunge into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The road we will take crosses the Khenifiss National Park whose Naila Lagoon is home to the pink flamingos. Option to take a boat trip with local fishermen. Departure for Tan Tan and its popular beach. Spanish protectorate of the 1940s, this town experienced a moment of glory as the starting point for the famous Green March of Morocco. The beach called Tan Tan Plage or Al Ouatia, is located 28km west of Tan Tan, constantly windswept. Dinner and overnight in Fort Bou Jerif, a French fort of the Foreign Legion reachable via 10km of dirt road. The complex has now become a hotel where the house specialty is the famous dromedary tagine.



day5: Fort Bou Jerif - Sidi Ifni – Legzira - Mirlef - Agadir 210 km

HB. Departure very early in the morning towards Sidi Ifni, a former Spanish enclave. Rich in art deco buildings, this town was once an important center for the slave trade. When the sun sets on the esplanade and on the ruined calles, and the Atlantic mists envelop it in muffled light, Ifni looks like a mysterious outpost. Departure for the northern Atlantic coast route, one of the most beautiful roads in the region. Stop at Mirleft, a seaside town  and lively cultural centre that has always been frequented by artists. Its cafes under the arches painted in pink and blue, give liveliness to the whole centre town. We continue north towards Aglou beach, a well-established surf spot. Arrival in the evening at the long beach of Imsouane, located between Agadir and Essouira, a small fishing port with an extraordinary ecosystem and an interesting troglodyte village situated near the beach. Dinner and overnight in a guest house.

 



day6: Agadir - Marrakech (240km)

B&B. Departure for Marrakech. Journey will be via highway.  Arrival and private transfer to the riad in the heart of the Medina. Free dinner and overnight stay.



day7: Marrakech

B&B. Guided walking tour of Marrakech around the most typical derbs (alleys) of the Medina. You'll get the chance to visit all the main attractions, starting from famous Jemaa El Fna Square, pumping heart of all activities in town, to the Minaret of the Koutubia and the lively and colourful souks, proceeding with the Kasbah, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), Ben Youssef Medersa (Coranic School), the Saadian Tombs and the always beautiful Bahia Palace. The 19km long red bastions embracing the Medina open up on monumental gates, perfect examples of the best Moorish architecture. Free dinner and overnight at selected riad.



day8: Marrakech Flight

Breakfast. Private transfer to the airport 3 hours before departure. End of services.

Within our circuits and "experience" give you the opportunity to choose, during a tour in the desert, between desert basic camp (WC / shower in common - with traditional Moroccan tents equipped with beds, blankets and sheets) and luxury desert camp, where the comforts and services in the desert are at high level. Large traditional tents with beds and blankets prestigious, toilet and hot shower inside your tent. Often luxury desert camp are in extraordinary locations where the silence of the desert reigns master.
Some of them do not serve alcohol with meals.
